Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has announced she’s expecting her first baby.
In a sweet post to social media, the 27-year-old singer cradled her growing baby bump alongside boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, also 27, with the pair appearing to be absolutely buzzing about their impending bundle.
The gorgeous black and white photos saw the footballer, in a white T-shirt, with his hands around Perrie’s waist, as the singer closed her eyes and smiled.
Her bump was on full display as she wore a black bra and lovingly placed a hand on Alex’s neck.
She wrote alongside the adorable photos: ‘So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate
‘Me + Him = You 🌎♥️
‘We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!’
Alex shared the same photos to his own page, writing: ‘Anyone got any advice on how to change nappies? 😅 so grateful and excited to become a dad ❤️ bring on the sleepless nights.’
Bandmate Jade Thirlwall commented on the sweet news writing: ‘Beaming for you both ♥️ I’m the luckiest auntie in the world! Love youuuuu x’
Leigh-Anne Pinnock also liked the photo, as did former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson.
Perrie and Liverpool player Alex have been dating for four years, having celebrated their anniversary in November, with the singer recently answering a question about whether wedding bells would be chiming.
Lifting the lid on their relationship during an appearance on the Capital Breakfast Show with Roman Kemp, she was asked: ‘If he did pop the question, is it a silly question to ask, would you say yes?’
Perrie replied: ‘I have to think about it I think… No, obviously!
‘Me and Leigh-Anne [Pinnock] were just chatting and Andre [Gray] wanted to wait for their anniversary.
‘I was like, aww your four-year, I just had my four-year anniversary and I got a Dairy Milk bar of chocolate!
‘But do you know what, I appreciate him, we don’t want to rush into it. But it would be a definitely yes from me, I reckon!’
The announcement comes a week after Perrie’s bandmate Leigh-Anne announced her own pregnancy.
The Confetti singer, 29, shared the joyful news with her own Instagram followers on Tuesday with a stunning photo shoot of her cradling her baby bump, a year after announcing she and Andre, also 29, were engaged.
She wrote in the caption: ‘We’ve dreamed about this moment for so long and we can’t believe the dream is finally coming true… we can’t wait to meet you. ❤️😍.’
Leigh-Anne’s bandmate Perrie Edwards led the congratulations and commented: ‘I can’t stop staring at these pictures. You’re a vision. Ily both so much! congratulations my beautiful sister! ♥️.’
