Zayn Malik has declared his love for Perrie Edwards, after pictures emerged of him looking cosy with a mystery blonde.
The One Direction star was spotted allegedly ‘holding hands’ with an unidentified woman after 1D’s gig in Thailand, just days after fiancée Perrie admitted their relationship was ‘difficult’.
The images sparked speculation among 1D fans, but a rep for the band denied they were holding hands.
Seemingly fed up with the backlash, Zayn took to his Twitter account to put the rumours to bed.
He wrote: ‘I’m 22 years old… I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there’s a lot of jealous f**ks in this world I’m sorry for what it looks like x’.
Zayn and Perrie first met during her time on The X Factor and began dating in 2012.
Zayn proposed in 2013, but last year Perrie admitted they were too busy to tie the knot anytime soon.
