Piers Morgan has accused Little Mix of stealing their naked videoshoot idea from American band The Dixie Chicks.

The presenter has been giving a lot of thought to the promo photo for Little Mix’s Strip music video, which features the girls- Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall – naked with insults scrawled on their bodies.

Tweeting it next to a photo of The Dixie Chicks on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, Piers wrote: ‘Hey @LittleMix – when are you going to admit you stole this idea from @dixiechicks?’

Piers and Jesy Nelson have been hitting out at each other for the past few days.

It all started when Piers suggested that Little Mix were stripping off to up sales, instead of, y’know, making a point about feminism and women celebrating their bodies.

Jesy wasn’t having any of it, calling him a ‘silly twat’ live on radio and posting a sexy photo in Calvin Klein underwear on Instagram.

‘I woke up like this! (Definitely didn’t took me a very long time to master this pose),’ she wrote.

The Good Morning Britain host demanded an apology and laughed off Jesy’s photo, tweeting: ‘Sultry? She looks ridiculous. Ask her to put some clothes on (if she has any…) & apologise for calling me a twat.’

Somehow we don’t think it’s going to happen.

Since, Jesy’s posted another photo in a snakeskin bra and matching trousers, captioning it just with three snake emojis.

The girls released the music video for Strip on 16 November, co-directing it with photographer Rankin.

Fans have been living for it, with one tweeting: ‘The #Strip music video is really inspirational and its meaning is so powerful for people (like me) who aren’t confident at all about their bodies. So thanks @LittleMix’.

Another called the group ‘role models’, writing: ‘Strip is such an important song and video. sexiest when i’m confident.

‘This is exactly the reason why little mix are such rolemodels!’

Ricky Gervais has had his two cents on the Piers Morgan/ Ariana Grande/ Little Mix feud, by comparing them to rival rappers Tupac and Biggie.

Everyone is getting involved and we can’t keep up.

The comedian replied to Piers’ latest trash talk about Little Mix, tweeting: ‘This is like 2Pac & Biggie all over again.’

Ricky was replying to Piers who replied to Ariana Grande’s mum, who came to Ellen DeGeneres and Little Mix’s defence (please tell us we got that right).

After Piers claimed that Little Mix stole the idea for their naked shoot from The Dixie Chicks, Joan Grande had the girls’ backs.

Joan wasn’t finished with him yet, though.

‘Have her call me… it’s not about being afraid, that’s a cop out; and we all know in America that everyone has the right to speak their minds,’ she said.

‘But trash talk for the sake of denigrating women doing their jobs is at best misogynistic and at worst undignified and ignorant!’

We can see where Ariana gets the badass gene from.

Piers replied: ‘The only ‘trash talk’ came from Little Mix who called me a “twat” on the radio. I suggest you call THEIR mothers to tell them to wash their mouths out with soap.’

Meanwhile, Ari had also had enough of Piers’ comments.

She tweeted: ‘I use my talent AND my sexuality all the time because i choose to. women can be sexual AND talented. naked and dignified. it’s OUR choice.  & we will keep fighting til people understand. i say this w all due respect but thank u, next.’

Brutal.

All the drama comes after Piers claimed Little Mix were simply using nudity to up sales rather than as a feminist statement.

‘What’s the point of it,’ Piers asked. ‘Using nudity to sell their album.’

Little Mix has continued to rep the girl power they’re famous for as they told the trolls just what they think about criticism of their stage outfits.

The superstar girlband have faced hate in the past for stage garb deemed ‘skimpy’, but they have a message if you think that’s the case.

Speaking ahead of their Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball performance on Sunday in London, Jesy Nelson told the haters to ‘bore off’ if they have a problem.

The 27-year-old said: ‘If you’ve got nothing nice to say then bore off because we embrace every single bit of our bodies.

‘That’s what being a woman is about – being confident.’

Fellow Mixer Perrie Edwards, 25, told The Sun the girls had a ‘zero tolerance’ policy on the outfit shaming, as she said ‘we say, just shut up’.

She added: ‘It’s our choice. It’s about embracing what you want to embrace.

‘We don’t question it. It shouldn’t be a question.’

They then took to the stage in an energetic and powerful performance at the O2 wearing an array of matching outfits in white and gold, closing the ball for another year.

Their set ended with their hit Shout Out To My Ex as confetti rained down on dancing punters.

The women have faced backlash from Piers Morgan recently over their Strip video clip, which saw the ladies quite literally strip and cover their bodies with words that were previously used against them as a slur, as a means to reclaim them.

Not backing down from their message, over the weekend the troupe took to the X Factor stage for an inspirational performance that was praised for its girl power ethos.

Jesy, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie performed their hit Woman Like Me as the show’s pros completed a dance routine around them, making Strictly history.

That’s right, they made up the show’s first ever all-female performance in the show’s 14 years on-air. Casual.

Naturally, fans absolutely loved the performance, which saw fan fave pros including Dianne Buswell, Karen Clifton and Katya Jones take centre stage in the moment of female empowerment.

Little Mix took to the ballroom during the Strictly Come Dancing semis where they put on an all girl performance to their hit Woman Like Me.

The likes of Dianne Buswell, Karen Clifton and Katya Jones graced the dance floor while the girls put on a show and made Strictly history with the first ever all female performance.

And while belting out their new single, Perrie appeared to be taken by Katya’s moves and has since asked the star for some private lessons.

Taking to Twitter, the controversial star thanked Little Mix for appearing on the show and expressed how fun it was to perform with them.

The 29-year-old said: ‘It was great to perform with @LittleMix! Even got to dance with Perrie!! Thank you ladies and love this song as well!!!’

And it seemed Perrie enjoyed the evening just as much, as she was quick to reply to her new dancing buddy.

The Shout Out To My Ex songstress wrote: ‘You’re a sexy little firecracker! When do my private dance classes start?! Perrie <3.’

A dream duo if you ask us.

And it sounds as though Katya is up for it, as she agreed to the lesson.

Alongside a wink emoji, the dancer wrote: ‘Consider your Christmas present sorted!’

Fans of the show were taken a back by the performance, and praised Little Mix for making history with the concept of their routine.

One wrote: ‘that Strictly performance was ICONIC to say the least.’

The evening saw Lauren Steadman and AJ Pritchard as the next couple to be eliminated from the competition just one week from the final.

The pair were voted out unanimously by the judges as they faced off against Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev, who despite making it to the top of the leaderboard, once again fell into the bottom two.

Speaking about her elimination, Lauren said: ‘I have absolutely loved my Strictly journey and it has been so much more than anyone ever tells you it’s going to be and that you thought it would be.

‘Down to the smallest things; I mean outfits, hair, makeup, this man (AJ), the judges, all the choreographers. It’s just… I can’t tell you just how magical it is.’

Perrie Edwards has taken some extreme measures to make sure she matches with dog Hatchi – by cutting up a pair of her designer trousers to make him an outfit.

Yes, seriously.

The Little Mix star rocked a pair of Balenciaga trousers – worth £685 – on the red carpet at the Capital Jingle Bell Ball, on Sunday, coupled with a black and yellow logo top.

And, in a clip on her Instagram story, the 25-year-old showed some of the material had been cut and formed to make a little top for the Pomeranian.

Never have we ever been so jealous of a dog, to be honest.

‘Yes, I’m extra. Getting a matching outfit made,’ she wrote for her 8.6million followers.

She later showed off their matching looks – with the pup running around in the background – adding: ‘Matching Balenciaga? Why the fuck not?!?’

The Woman Like Me singer’s posts come after she hit out at outfit shamers who had previously come for herself and her bandmates, explaining they simply tell everyone to ‘shut up’.

Perrie Edwards has revealed that she and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain nearly split when things got a little too heated over a board game.

We’ve all been there.

The Little Mix star and her Liverpool footballer boyfriend are clearly the competitive type as they got into a row over a game of Articulate, a game where players try to describe words to their teammate as quickly as possible.

It’s a recipe for disaster at the best of times, let alone for an internationally known popstar and a Premier League sportsman.

‘We had date night, it was competitive, it got out of hand,’ Perrie admitted.

‘I swear to God I thought he was going to dump me – and I thought I was going to dump him. If you think I’m competitive, you should meet him,’ she joked.

Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief though, as the couple are still going strong – board games aside.

Perrie even recently revealed she ‘definitely’ wants to marry Alex, after the pair have been together for two years.

‘I hear a violinist and I’m like, “That’s going in my wedding!” I love strings, the whole idea of marriage… the day and the dress,’ she admitted.

‘I’m a hopeless romantic but, at the same time, I’m career-driven first. I know marriage is lovely and cute, but I’d rather just be with Alex for the rest of my life if I had to pick.’

However, while the Shout Out To My Ex singer admitted she ‘loves babies’, she’s not feeling quite ready to have kids yet.

It’s probably a good thing if they’re set to inherit her competitive genes.

After Jade Thirlwall’s drag queen-themed birthday last year, we were expecting big things for this year’s party.

The Little Mix star threw an ‘idol’ costume party ahead of her 26th birthday on Boxing Day, and chose to embody the ultimate diva – Diana Ross.

After spending years wishing she was Ginger Spice, Jesy, 27, wore the iconic Union Jack dress worn by Geri at the 1997 Brit Awards paired with black boots and a ginger wig, and struck the girl power pose for extra effect.

Meanwhile, Leigh-Anne, also 27, took inspiration from Rihanna’s Work video, wearing a mesh dress in the colours of the Jamaican flag over a bikini.

While fans took to social media to squeal over the band’s epic costumes, they were left baffled by one omission – that of bandmate Perrie Edwards.

For the second year running, Perrie, 25, has been a no-show at Jade’s birthday, and people are rather confused as to why she skipped the bash:

Her last Instagram post, shared on 1 December, has now been inundated with fans asking why she wasn’t at the party.

Perrie did shout out her friends, though, commenting on a picture of Jesy’s costume ‘unreal’ and writing below a post of Leigh-Anne’s ‘Yasssss’.

Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards and her boyfriend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, probably shouldn’t play any games together this Christmas.

The Woman Like Me singer reveals how she and the Liverpool footballer nearly broke up after getting into a heated argument while playing a game of Articulate on a date night.

Fortunately they stayed together but Perrie, 25, is still scarred by the memory of their competitiveness.

While hosting a show with her bandmates on BBC Radio 1 for Christmas Day, Perrie recalled: ‘My relationship with Alex neatly came to an end because of this game.

‘We had date night, it was competitive, it got out of hand and I swear to god I thought he was going to dump me. And I thought I was going to dump him.’

When Leigh-Anne asked in surprise if Alex was competitive, Perrie replied: ‘He’s the worst, you think I’m competitive, you should meet him. It was horrendous. I honestly couldn’t look at him so let’s hope this doesn’t end the band.’

Yikes, let’s hope not.

Perrie has been dating Alex, 25, since November 2016 and their relationship has been going strong since with rumours even swirling that they had gotten engaged earlier this year.

Perhaps after their game of Articulate, Alex joked he was worried the popstar would write a break-up song about him after Little Mix’s success with Shout Out To My Ex.

Alex told The Sun on Sunday: ‘I better watch out! ‘I don’t want her to become an ex and sing about me. Probably something about Arsenal being rubbish. I better look after her.’

Despite her past bad experience, Perrie went ahead and played Articulate with her Little Mix bandmates but fortunately it didn’t end badly as they’re still very much together and looking forward to their 2019 tour.

And it seemed the Little Mix singer has been the naughty one out of the pair.

Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards gave her mother the present of her dreams for Christmas.

Clearly feeling particularly generous, Perrie, 25, surprised her mum, Debbie Edwards, with a brand new car and needless to say, she was speechless and moved to tears.

Perrie shared the sweet moment on Instagram, with her mother seen being led out of the house to the driveway where her new carriage awaited her. Debbie’s shiny new Range Rover sat with a huge pink bow on the bonnet as she exclaimed in shock: ‘That’s not mine?’

Becoming tearful over her popstar daughter’s generosity, Debbie gave Perrie and her boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain warm hugs before hopping into the driver’s seat to take her new pride and joy out for a spin.

Of course, Perrie couldn’t wait to test the car out on the road and promptly jumped in the passenger’s seat.

The Strip singers are nominated for Best British Group and British Artist Video for Woman Like Me at the event.

The Brits attract some of music’s biggest stars – and Perrie got a taster of that at Paris Fashion Week, as celebs including Offset attended the Off-White show.

Cardi B’s ex-husband and Migos rapper Offset was pictured with Playboi Carti backstage, before he walked in the Off-White show wearing a floor-length lilac duffel coat.

Other stars seen at the show included G-Eazy, Madison Beer and J Balvin.

However, Perrie’s Little Mix bandmates weren’t present.

Jade Thirlwall is holidaying with boyfriend Jed Elliott in Thailand, Leigh Anne-Pinnock has been sunning herself in Jamaica, while Jesy Nelson shared Instagram stories signalling she’s in the UK.

Jesy Nelson and Chris Hughes were spotted kissing recently, sending fans into meltdown over a potential new relationship.

And the Little Mix singer’s bandmate, Perrie Edwards, remained all sorts of coy when asked about their rumoured romance.

During a chat on Capital Radio’s Breakfast Show, Roman Kemp asked the Think About Us singer exactly what was going on between the pair.

Not wasting any time, he said: ‘There was a rumour that there’s a new man in Jesy’s life, a friend of the show, Mr Chris Hughes?’

When she laughed off the question, he continued: ‘We all saw the photo… Have you met Chris?’

‘Nope, I haven’t,’ the X Factor star admitted. ‘He seems really nice but I can’t spill the beans on my best friend I’m afraid.’

So that’s that then…

Perrie’s words come after Jesy and Chris were caught kissing in a kebab shop, after a swanky night out at The Cauldron, a Harry Potter themed bar.

As you do.

‘They couldn’t keep their greasy mitts off one another,’ a source told The Sun at the time. ‘They kept pausing mid-sentence to snog, and were really affectionate. It may be early days but there’s definitely a real spark.

‘They are taking things slowly for now but it could become something more serious,’ another insider told the publication.

The Woman Like Me singer, who previously dated Harry James, has kept quiet about the speculation so far.

While the reality star also couldn’t be drawn on his personal life, simply stating he was ‘enjoying what he’s doing’.

When asked if he was single, Chris – who was a runner-up on Love Island with ex Olivia Attwood – told The Sun: ‘I’m just happy with myself at the minute.’

Perrie Edwards has revealed that Little Mix practise their losing face for awards show because it can ‘hurt your soul’.

Admitting that the girls are always left disappointed when they don’t win an award they are nominated for, Perrie also joked that at least they’d had a lot of experience thanks to their time on The X Factor.

The band are nominated for best video and best group at the 2019 Brit Awards but she said that ‘it actually really hurts your soul when you go to these things and you don’t win’.

‘I know we practise the whole “we didn’t win, but congratulations”. When really on the inside we’re thinking “Dammit!”‘

Speaking on Kiss Breakfast on Wednesday, she also added that their time on X Factor made them ‘pros’ at the particular face needed when you want to cry but have to maintain composure.

Anne-Marie and Dua Lipa are among the most decorated nominees at this year’s Brit Awards, with the pair coming out on top with four nominations apiece.

Anne-Marie has landed nods for British female and British album for Speak Your Mind, while 2002 is up for British single and British video.

Meanwhile, Dua’s IDGAF and her collaboration with Calvin Harris, One Kiss, are both up for British single and British video.

Jorja Smith follows closely behind with three nods, while Jess Glynne has two solo nods – as well as being a featured artist on Rudimental’s These Days.

Little Mix go up against Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Gorillaz, and Years & Years for British group, and Anne-Marie, Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, Clean Bandit, Jax Jones, Jonas Blue, Liam Payne and Rita Ora for video.

Perrie Edwards failed to leave Kiss FM studios unnoticed after attempting to hide her face from the crowds on her way to her ride.

The 25-year-old pulled the collar of her coat up around her mouth as she made a dash for it to the car.

But despite trying to sneak out of the building, she was snapped by paparazzi – who totally killed her ‘incognito’ vibe.

Her Little Mix gal pals, however, were less afraid of being spotted from their time at the station, as they beamed at the cameras while leaving the building.

They appeared to be in high spirits after hanging out together, but quickly disappeared into their black four-by-fours.

The group recently announced a new European tour, where they’ll be travelling to six different countries before returning to the UK.

However, the news was bitter sweet for Mixers, as they were left disappointed by the girls cancelling their Aberdeen show – which was set to take place later this year.

Taking to Twitter, The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA) told fans that due to ‘unforeseen logistical issues,’ the show had been called off.

A statement from the group’s representative read: ‘Due to unforeseen logistical issues Little Mix have unfortunately had to cancel their Aberdeen show, scheduled for 4th October 2019.

‘The band are really disappointed to not be able to make the show.’

Making a further comment to Metro.co.uk, they added that the girls are ‘looking forward to seeing their Scottish fans at their three Glasgow Hydro shows.’

And went on to reassure everyone that ‘refunds are available from point of purchase.’

Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock announced their new tour, which sees them head to Belfast just two days after they were supposed to appear in Aberdeen.

When telling fans the news, the singers wrote on Twitter: ‘MORE TOUR DATES!! Your girls are coming to Europe. Tickets on sale next week! Keep your eyes peeled on our website.’

Liam Payne made a shock appearance on The Greatest Dancer on Saturday night during Froback’s performance and it was awkward AF.

The former One Direction star, who’s recently been linked to Naomi Campbell, was roped into the BBC show alongside Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards and Robbie Williams by ex-girlfriend Cheryl as part of her groups performance.

Appearing on a giant screen via FaceTime, Cheryl answered the call and without greeting singer, Liam asked: ‘Chez, can you put Frobacks on please?’

While the audience gasped at Liam’s shade, Cheryl gave an award-worthy eye-roll and passed the phone over.

Addressing the dance troupe, Liam said: ‘You guys are killing it.I’d love to teach you tricks some time, so make sure you get my number off Chez, okay?’

Perrie and Robbie also made cameos with messages of support for Frobacks as part of their social networking themed routine, however the dance failed to wow captains Oti Mabuse and Matthew Morrison.

‘Every time the phone went off, it stopped everything,’ said Matthew. ‘It was distracting and it took away from the dance.’

Cheryl didn’t agree and said: ‘We socially networked. I did pull in a few favours, but they are genuine fans. These challenges are doing what they intended to do.’

Liam and Cheryl, who share son Bear, announced their split back in July 2018, with Chezza tweeting: ‘We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways.

‘It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.’

Viewers were stunned to see Liam in action

The Greatest Dancer airs Saturdays at 7.35pm on BBC One.

Little Mix were all about the thigh action on the Brits 2019 red carpet with the four-piece girl band serving some serious looks. There were also some new additions to the group with each member bringing their boyfriends as dates for the evening.

The Woman Like Me singers glammed up to the nines with each singer wearing floor-length gowns as they arrived at London’s O2 Arena on Wednesday evening.

Perrie Edwards donned a strapless midnight blue gown while Jesy Nelson opted for lace, Jade Thirlwall dazzled in a sheer white dress and Leigh-Anne showed off her abs in a green two-piece, with three of the popstars sporting thigh-high side splits.

Leigh-Anne, 27, clearly wanted to share the special night with her other-half as brought her footballer boyfriend, Andre, along for the star-studded evening, while Jade, 26, packed on the PDA and shared kisses with her boyfriend, Jed Elliott.

Perrie, 25, also posed for photos with her beau Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, while Jesy invited a female friend along for the fun.

It’s set to be a big night for the Little Mix ladies who are nominated for British group and British artist video of the year for their Nicki Minaj collaboration Woman Like Me.

The popstars are also set to perform with Ms Banks during the awards ceremony, which will no doubt make for a highlight.

Little Mix will be hoping to repeat their success at the 2017 Brit Awards when they won British single for Shout Out To My Ex.

Jack Whitehall will be hosting tonight’s ceremony while other performances will come from the likes of Sam Smith, Dua Lip, Calvin Harris, Jess Glynne, Pink and Hugh Jackman.

The Brits 2019 will air on ITV live from 8pm.

Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been total couple goals since they first started dating, back in 2016.

But are the pair about to take things to the next level?

It has been claimed the Liverpool footballer revealed he is thinking about proposing to the Little Mix singer in the near future.

Honestly, we need an invite to that wedding so much.

In a chat with the Sun recently, the 25-year-old was asked if he was planning on ‘putting a ring on it’ – and he reportedly ‘smiled as he nodded his head while winking’.

Which is about as close to a yes as you can get.

Palex – or Alerrie, as fans have dubbed them – were first spotted together at the end of 2016, but didn’t make things Instagram official until a few months later.

Their romance came over a year after Perrie called off her engagement to Zayn Malik, following a four-year relationship.

And, while the couple have been living their best lives ever since – sunning themselves on romantic getaways and enjoying the football together – the Woman Like Me singer revealed things nearly came to a very abrupt end over a board game.

Fair enough, to be honest.

While hosting a Christmas Day show with her bandmates, Pezza, 25, confessed herself and the England ace got into an almighty row while playing Articulate, on a date night.

‘My relationship with Alex neatly came to an end because of this game,’ she recalled.

‘We had date night, it was competitive, it got out of hand and I swear to god I thought he was going to dump me. And I thought I was going to dump him.’

When Leigh-Anne asked in surprise if the footballer was competitive, Perrie added: ‘He’s the worst, you think I’m competitive, you should meet him. It was horrendous.

‘I honestly couldn’t look at him so let’s hope this doesn’t end the band.’
